Looking for a great mountain get-away home in the Sierra's? Most people have heard of Hume Lake and Wilsonia. Lesser known, but equally beautiful, is the Hartland Christian Camp area near Redwood Mountain. This enclave of mountain cabins sits in a forest studded valley just east of Badger. Built in 1991, this 2 story "barn-style" cabin has over 1,900 square feet of living area and a very private setting.

The property site consists of 3 lots totaling just over 6,000sf. Although it is classified as a 1 bedroom 1.75 bath, the second story has a full bath and a large loft that could be divided into 2 additional bedrooms (each with its own balcony deck). The main level has the kitchen, large living room, bedroom, and bathroom. The home is well built and in good condition but does need a few finishing details. The setting is very private with no homes sited above this one. Water is provided by the Hartland Water District. All furnishing are included except for a few family heirlooms which will be identified.

Negatives? Not many. This is one of the nicer Hartland properties. Location is a bit remote and snow depths in the winter can be a bit problematic at times for travel, but that's what a get-away place is supposed to be. This is a probate sale and will require court approval (owner died on the property 4 years ago).

Hartland is a beautiful area, just a short distance from the Giant Sequoia's. This lesser known cabin development offers a great opportunity for a vacation retreat at a terrific price.
