Description:

SALE PENDING Are you absolutely fed up with the world pressing in on you from every side? Just need a place of absolute solitude and serenity to decompress and recharge the batteries? Here's an amazing 40 acres of wilderness property with a cabin deep in the forest. This is a place where you can shut out the world.

This absolute gem of a parcel has direct access to Hwy 245 and is less than 2 miles from Sequoia Lake. Located at the 5,100 foot elevation, this is a truly untamed forest property in the wilderness. Tired of the burnt out brown of summer? The pictures were all taken June 1st. There's no brown here. The property is security gated and the cabin is located about 1/2 mile from the highway with decent road access all of the way. It's no mansion but it has all of the essentials including living and sleeping areas and a bathroom. There is also a well. This is way off the grid, so power for the well and cabin must be provided by a generator. With some effort, solar could be an option. Bottom line is that the creature comforts are there. And what a place to decompress!! The only noises you'll hear are nature's music - a host of birds and pinecones dropping from the trees. There is an amazing diversity of plants and trees and the character of the land changes with the seasons. And, yes, there are 4 real seasons here, each providing a unique perspective for you to enjoy this wonderful wilderness property.

How about the negatives? Well, I don't see any, but I'm mountain born and bred. This an off grid property. Bringing in electrical service would be hugely expensive, so it's solar or generator. The cabin and well are in and very functional but this is forest wilderness and the area needs a lot of cleanup. This is an area that gets quite a bit of snow, so winter access at times will be limited to 4 wheel drive or even snowmobile.

This property is as rare as it gets, a primitive paradise of absolute privacy and total seclusion from the world. It just doesn't get any better than that. The seller will consider carrying paper for a qualified buyer with at least 1/2 down. Showings are by appointment only.
